Mentions of sex.

When Yamamoto first confessed his feelings to Gokudera, the day wasn't any different than any other time. It wasn't a beautiful sunny day with cherry blossom petals falling like in some kind of romantic movie, and there wasn't even an ironic rainstorm that day. The silver-haired boy ignored him for a few days after he was called to the rooftop after school for a spontaneous conversation about his feelings, but that was okay. That's what he expected.
What didn't come as expected was the text message Yamamoto got after Saturday afternoon baseball practice coming from the person who had been on his mind, lately, telling him to meet him in the park. The park was on the other side of town from Yamamoto's house, so it would take too much time to head home and take a shower and then change into respectable clothes instead of his sweaty baseball uniform that was covered in dirt and grass stains. However, if Gokudera wanted to talk to him it had to be something urgent, right? Gokudera never called for him.

He never expected to be pushed against a tree and kissed.

---

The first month was awkward. It wasn't like those times in dramas where there's a montage--- the couple lovingly holding hands on a walk in the park, sharing an umbrella in the pouring rain and the taller steals a kiss, "guess who" games from behind.
No, every time either of them tried to start something that was the image of a picture-perfect romance, something would go wrong. Yamamoto had at least four bruises on his forhead from missing when going in for a kiss, and at one point actually poked Gokudera in the eye with his nose.
The physical-affection starved Italian didn't exactly have the best aim, either, at first. There had been times where he reached for his lover's hand when they were alone, just so he could do some stupid girly thing and feel the warmth of the others palm, but would be a second too late. Yamamoto simply had too much energy to sit still and wait for romantic advances, so whenever Gokudera finally found a crack in his pride-protecting wall to push through, the athlete had already run off to do something else on his agenda.

---

Having sex for the first time wasn't a cakewalk. Finding out a time when Tsuyoshi wasn't home was hard enough, as there were hardly any times Takesushi was closed.
Figuring out who was doing what was overly embarrassing, even though it was obvious that Yamamoto would be the one to 'take the lead'. He was bigger, stronger, and not afraid to do something for someone he cared about.
Keeping your dignity and being a 15-year-old boy who knew every little thing about gay sex didn't go hand-in-hand, so when it came time for the act, it was a bit more disastrous than planned. It was messy, loud, and much more painful than it was pleasurable.
Gokudera couldn't sit without wincing for a week, after.

---

After a few months, things got easier. The two knew every little way that the other ticked, by now, even if they still hadn't told any other members of the Family that they had been seeing each other. That would just make things awkward, and could very well just end up a burden on Tsuna.
If their relationship was a burden onto Tsuna, Yamamoto knew that Gokudera would likely not hesitate to drop it, no matter how many times he had managed to get the silver-haired pianist to smile in the past two weeks, even if they were only those cute, split-second smiles that were more often than not followed by a blush, and Gokudera turning his head away.
Being physical became much more easy with practice. It wasn't long before the two could easily steal kisses without blinding the other, or leaving a goose-egg. Hand-holding became so common, even sometimes in a crowded place where it would be hard to see, that it was almost like those thin-fingered, pale hands were an extension to sport-calloused tan ones.
Sex became much easier, too. It was worlds less painful, and there were even a few rare instances where Gokudera had felt the need to take the wheel--- it was only fair.

The two layed naked in that creaky old bed on the second floor of the sushi shop one Saturday morning, sunlight peering in from curtains that had been shut in a hurried fashion-- there was still plenty of uncovered window.
When Yamamoto reached over to gently and playfully brush away silver strands from a distant-looking face, Gokudera turned over on the bed without a word.
"Gokudera? What's wrong?" Yamamoto asked softly, propping himself up on his elbows.
The other didn't talk at first, but then mumbled a low "Tch. It's stupid, anyway. Just go back to sleep."
It took almost fifteen minutes to get the answer out of Gokudera, but when the bomber whipped around and said with that cute angry-embarrassed face "It's because you didn't hold me last night after we finished, alright?!", Yamamoto paused.

He snaked his arms around Gokudera's waist, pulling the other boy gently against his chest. When he felt the body relax into his own right away and not tense up, he smiled warmly into silver hair.
Not because smiling was his default expression, but because for the first time, things were perfect.
Ever since Gokudera had suggested the 'cat and mouse' game, it became one of the daily rituals to his life of being a 'slave', along with being kicked to wake up and being cut nearly every day. Some days it was like tag, some days it was like hide-and-seek. Really, it depended on how much Bel felt like moving, that day.
Of course, Bel always won. Bel had to always win. Because he was a prince.

Normally, when Bel claimed his prize for winning, it was a story. Gokudera never really understood why Bel seemed to like his stories so much. If he was a 'prince', wouldn't he have maids when he was a child to tell him these? They were simple stories that every person knew off by heart. Once Gokudera got through with the brothers grimm-esque tales, he had to move onto stories that were made more popular via Disney movies... and yet, the blonde still seemed to listen to them as if they were something new. He even liked the ones about romance, for some reason.

The thought of Belphegor being romantic made Gokudera's skin crawl.

With this round, which was more like tag, Bel used his wires once again to immobilize Gokudera, but not to cut him. The silver-haired boy's arms were slightly out, and wires were preventing him from lowering them, or even from moving his head over a bit. He knew that even if he moved the slightest bit, the wire would slice into his skin, Bel would see his blood, and it'd be back to another day of laying on that blanket and trying to move through the weakness of mass blood loss.

When the prince laughed that spine-tingling laugh and said "I win" and something like "Now the prince gets to claim his prize~"(Gokudera wasn't listening, he was trying to think of a way to make The Little Mermaid grusome so that it'd capture his 'master's interest more), it caught the slave completely off-guard when his chin was grabbed by those hands that had caused him so much pain, before.

And he was sure his heart stopped when that mouth that he was only used to being pulled into a gut-turning smile or annoyed frown pressed against his own in which happened to be his first ever kiss.

He wasn't sure where Bel learned where the fuck to use tounge, but he was sure that he was pretty damn good at it.

Wings

Hearing a uniform beep every few seconds along with the soft buzz of a machine was the normal thing for a laboratory such as the one hidden a few stories underground. The high-powered machines were not unlike any of the ones you’d see running shops, the stop lights, or any of the super-powered bridges used to boost the speed of vehicles to cross oceans; these were just used in different ways. In the main room of the eastern wing of the lab, hundreds of occupied cages littered the floor, each of them containing one of the government’s precious genetic experiments. With the world becoming one giant city, they searched for ways for humans to adapt to living in such conditions, with little fresh air and virtually no space to grow any food. However, scientists seemed to like playing around, grafting things onto people which should not be there.
One day, during one of the routine chemical bonding tests, something went wrong. As the two liquids touched, the entire lab was rocked in the resulting explosion. When everything momentarily lost power, chaos broke out. The cages opened, and every one of the genetic experiments that were still able to move broke out.

With The City being in the condition it was, news traveled extremely fast. There were constant news shows running, and no longer any language barriers. People were terrified of the news concerning the escaped experiments, fearing for their lives of what those genetically altered people could bring. Fortunately for those escapees that still looked remotely human, it was very easy to sneak around the slums and back alleys while the attention of the normal people was turned to the large TV’s plastered on almost every major building.
As the crowds out on the street moved swiftly, a small girl clothed in what seemed to be only the scraps of what once was a hospital gown huddled in an alley, holding a discarded blanket over her frame as if it were a cloak.
Even though any human contact the girl ever had was with scientists that seemed to only want to make her short life painful, she knew that going out onto the streets would only cause trouble for her and any of the other survivors. Looking back at the manhole behind her, the girl contemplated going back into the sewer and living there for the rest of her life. There were already some people in there, cooking what were most likely rats over fires in oil drums. Shaking her head, she realized that those people were also fending for themselves, and a mutant such as her would have no chance in hell of surviving on her own like that. When she made the motion to go out onto the fast-moving street, the girl noticed the large gap between the dumpster full of month-old meat and mattresses and the wall of a building she was sure was a butcher shop. Clamping her hand over her mouth and nose to muffle the smell, she pressed her body against the wall and slid through the body-sided gap, praying to whatever god there may be that she wasn’t walking straight into a district that was heavily guarded by the police.
When it came out to be another series of complicated alleys, the girl let out the breath she didn’t realize that she was holding, sighing in relief.
Knowing that this was the block of the city where all of the buildings stood together and created a space where no roads were, the girl thought she would no longer need to keep the scratchy and soiled blanked held close to her.
She let it fall to the ground, giving her wings some freedom.
Thinking there was no one around to see her, she continued through the maze of the complicated alleys that the buildings in the west shopping district made.
Never having this kind of freedom before, the girl would have laughed if she could. Unfortunately, the experiment she was involved in back in the lab was to see if they could artificially create what people knew to be an ‘angel’. They succeeded in giving the girl wings, but when they tried to alter her voice she lost the use of it.
The girl was now running with her eyes closed through a long strip of the alley, not using her common sense to look down the closed-in path to see if there was anything there she could have ran in to. When she ran head-on into what she knew was another person just from the crack his skull made against the ground as they collided, she would have shrieked if her throat allowed her to. Slowly opening her eyes, she timidly looked around for anything she could use to cover her back before the other person- which she now determined as a male –could get back onto his feet.
“Are those… wings?” He asked, tearing down the girl’s goal.
She looked at the boys face, expecting to see it twist in horror at the feathers that sprouted from her back. Instead the boy looked interested, as if he was restraining himself from reaching out and touching them. Tucking her arms into herself and folding the wings against her back, she answered his question with a small nod of her head.
Giving a smile that was rare for him, the boy tilted his head back in approval.
“That’s pretty cool.”
The girl smiled in return, and tried to continue on to trying to find her freedom.
“Where are you heading?” the boy asked casually, crossing his arms out of habit.
Not being able to speak, the girl just pointed in the direction she was walking,

Gokudera wasn't even sure exactly how he got himself into this situation. The last thing he remembered was being encountered by some gang members on his way home from school, and then his next memory was of being beat by at least four other people. He knew they probably asked him to join, and then he declined. Most gangs didn't take very kindly to that action, so after some though (while being pounded into the ground), he realized that was why he was being attacked.
He heard footsteps that seemed to be different than the scuffling of the fight, and everyone that was in on the 'beat down' stopped their actions. Obviously, this newcomer was their leader. After some mumbling, the leader walked over to him, picked him up by the head, and dragged his face harshly along the brick wall next to them. He nearly let a whimper escape from his throat as he felt the hand tighten in his hair, knowing what was coming before his head was pulled back and slammed into the wall.
That was when he lost consciousness.

When he came-to, he was in Tsuna's room. His vision hadn't exactly cleared right away, but when it did he scowled. He had expected to see Tsuna waiting by his bed for him to wake up, not Yamamoto.
"Hey, you woke up!" He said with a smile, leaning over the bed so that their faces were only half a foot away from each other. Instinctively, Gokudera pushed Yamamoto away, but then hissed in pain. A laugh was his response, and then he was gently pushed back down.
"You're still not better yet; You should lay down."
He didn't even have a comeback for that, scowling and pushing himself up out of the bed without a word. He headed downstairs, noticing that Tsuna wasn't there either. He turned to Nana, saying "Tell the Tenth 'thank you' when he comes home", thinking that he had just stepped out for a moment to get something for dinner. His mother blinked, responding with "Ah... Tsu-kun's been gone on a trip with Reborn-kun and his father since this afternoon."
Confusion spread across Gokudera's features, but his question was solved when he noticed the bloodied baseball bat sitting propped against the doorway.
Not having the balls to actually go up and say it those words for him, he left a small piece of paper on the bat with 'Thanks' scribbled on it.
An 'asshole', if you will.

But really, the word 'antisocial' fits him much better. Hayato is easily annoyed by almost everything, and therefor distances himself from the rest of the world. Not by wearing huge headphones and drowning the world in music, like some people like him do, but instead by simply not saying much, and carrying on his life in his way.

Or so he tries to make everyone think.

Gokudera has a, not often shown, softer side, one which really questions if he is useful to his family, if he's actually fit to be the right-hand man of the tenth boss of vongola.
He knows this side of him is weak and vulnerable, so he hides it with his hard outer shell of a self.

However, when he is around Sawada Tsunayoshi, he changes to a complete different facet of his personality.
Because Tsuna saved his life from his own slip up, Gokudera is extremely loyal to him.
When he's around Tsuna, he becomes cheerful and helpful, his way of speaking changing completely-- only towards Tsuna, of course.
He's known to do a complete 180 when doing this, often happening when Yamamoto comes out of nowhere and joins in on Gokudera and Tsuna hanging out.

Strengths: The biggest strength that Gokudera has is obviously the extreme amount of loyalty he has for his boss. During his fight for his Ring, he nearly gives up his life so that Tsuna would have the upper-hand in his battles. He also has a stunning amount of stamina, for a boy of his stature. Gokudera's known for being one to take quite a few hits, but there have been few times where he hasn't gotten back up after them. In terms of intellect, he is simply a 'dumb genius'. Having shut himself off, Hayato knows little of what people would think to be common sense, but excels greatly in academics, and the physics of how to throw his signature dynamite. He also has a very complex weapon called 'Sistema C.A.I', which uses five different kind of 'flame waves' as opposed to one, like normal.

Weaknesses: Aside from being his greatest strengths, Gokudera's loyalty is also one of his weaknesses. You could get him to back down from practically anything if you convince him that it's something Tsuna wouldn't want him to do, making him very manipulatable. He also has very noticeable anger problems, swearing and yelling at all of those who piss him off. Physically, he can take quite a few hits himself, but isn't much of a hard hitter. If you get him at close-range, there is very little he can do. Gokudera is a purely mid-ranged type fighter, what with using explosives that he throws as well as a canon on his arm that shoots fire.

Samples

First Person:
Ugh...
Who the hell moved me when I was sleeping? Dammit, I don't even remember this room! Che... I'm going to kill that baseball idiot. He'd be the only one to think of pulling something as stupid as this...
[ noticing his wings, he curses heavily under his breath out of shock, but then gets up. ]
I don't have time to be sitting around. I need to find the Tenth... His room could have been moved as well.
The raid's today.

Third Person:
The first thing Gokudera noticed when he regained consciousness was not the pain that filled his body, but the lack of the familiar weight of the chain around his neck that normally held his Ring of Storm. His body didn't react right away when he tried to move one of his thin hands up to feel around his chest in case it was another one of those times where he has just gotten used to the weight from putting it on again after taking a shower. After a minute or two of laying there (was he on a bed? the ground? he really couldn't tell), Hayato noticed the pain. Feeling something was enough to give him the drive to squint open his pale green eyes to look at his surroundings.
What he saw was most definitely not the base that he swore he went to bed in. Did the rest of the team go on without him? He mentally shook his head, knowing that even if that improbable situation did happen, that wouldn't explain his new location, let alone why he was so damn cold right now. He made a note to himself to punch whoever it was who had the idea to take his shirt off. Who the hell had the balls to do something like that while he was asleep, anyway? Once feeling other than a stinging pain in his back and neck returned to his body, Gokudera made the mistake of attempting to roll onto his back. He gave a hiss of pain, jolting upwards into a sitting position. What was it he just layed on? He didn't notice anything there, before.
Slightly paranoid, Hayato reached behind him, eyes widening as his fingers came into contact with the soft gray feathers. Wings? He had wings? Shaking his head to clear it, the boy swung his legs off the bed, clinging to the wall as they almost buckled beneath him. He would worry about this later. His top priorities at the moment were finding Tsuna, and then kicking the ass of whoever took his damn shirt and replaced it with wings.

His mother a half-Japanese, gorgeous, rising star when it came to the piano. His father, a pure Italian man who had high-up rankings when it came to the mafia. No one would have guessed that those two would get together, especially when the man had already had a wife and a daughter. It came as somewhat of a shock when Hayato was born, an illegitimate child. A stain on his fathers name.
Because of that, everyone in the family lied to the world, saying that Gokudera was the child of the man's real wife, even though he was the spitting image of his mother.
Hayato was only allowed to see his mother three times a year. However, three days after his third birthday, a meeting was arranged so that she could come and send him her birthday wishes.
However, that was when his father made an extremely 'mafia-like' move, and 'took care of her', having her car be pushed off a cliff as she headed up to see Hayato.
It took Gokudera until he was 8 years old to overhear maids in the manor he grew up in gossiping, telling how "that woman who used to visit young master Hayato was really his mother, did you know? I heard she died not long after his third birthday.".
After that, Gokudera tried to run away from home, but was promptly found.
His half-sister, Bianchi, tested out her 'poison cooking' on him when he was small, often ruining the piano recitals he had, after he took up the piano in his mothers footsteps not long after he learned of her death
It's lead to believe that learning that his father was the one to cause his mothers death was what changed Hayato from a happy, normal young boy into the grouchy and angry teenager he is today.

It was then he learned about the Vongola family, a family that with open arms accepted anyone, regardless of their linage.
It was first a mission for himself to assassinate the one in line for the Tenth boss-- Sawada Tsunayoshi, in hopes of getting a high up position for himself. However, he failed, and almost lost his own life in the process. Tsuna, though, saved Gokudera without thinking, and earned Hayato's utmost devotion, turning the silver-haired boy into his self-proclaimed 'Right-Hand man'
After a few months of daily life and mafia training at the hands of Tsuna's 'home tutor', Reborn, a group of people called 'the Varia' appeared in a flurry of violance. They told Tsuna and his group of friends that their leader, Xanxus, was actually meant to be the Tenth Boss in the Vongola family. Because of the half-rings the group had earlier recieved mysteriously in the mail, everyone was challenged to see who was fit to be the Tenth's guardians.

Gokudera recieved the Ring of Storm, and was the third of the potential guardians to have to fight in order to prove their strength. He fought against a boy named 'Belphegor', who used thin wire and knives as an illusion to make one think he was an expert at throwing them, and could use the air itself to cut someone. For the most part, it seemed that Bel was going to win the fight, however; Gokudera saw through his trick and seemingly knocked Bel unconcious. As Gokudera reached down to take Bel's half of the Storm ring and claim his title as 'Storm Guardian', Bel awoke and put up a fight. It was then that one of the traps in their battlefield, the top floor of the school, went off. Turbines placed to create wind began exploding, aiming to bring both fighters down if the ring was not retrieved within fifteen minutes. Gokudera was fully set on dieing to get the ring, as it would help Tsuna.
Tsuna, however, had different thoughts. Over the system that had been set up, Tsuna yelled at him to 'stop screwing around'. He reminded Gokudera that everyone was fighting so they could stay together, so they could once again have fun days when they sat around and did nothing, or had snowball fights, or watched fireworks.
Because of this, Gokudera gave up the ring and returned to the group seconds before the final explosion went off. He was badly injured and had lost the ring, but still alive.

After Gokudera's fight, his companions all won theirs, including Tsuna. This gave him the official title of the one in line for the Tenth boss.

Life went back to normal for awhile, but before anything got a chance to completely settle back to how it was months before, Tsuna was hit with the 'ten-year bazooka', sending him nine years and nine months into the future. He wasn't gone five minutes before Gokudera joined him. They learned then that Tsuna had died in the future. The two met up with more future Vongola, and were taken to an underground base. After learning of (and briefly fighting some of) the Millefiore family, they prepared to go on a raid of the Millefiore Base.

For most of his life, Yosuke and his family lived in the city. When a new department store called 'Junes' opened up in the tiny town of Inaba, Yosuke's father was made the manager of it. That resulted in the Hanamura family moving away from the city, and into the middle of nowheresville. Yosuke, being at that age where it's nice to have your own money instead of relying on your parents, took a job in the grocery department of Junes; however, because he is the son of the manager, he's often picked on by co-workers who happen to be upperclassmen who aren't exactly happy with their shifts or whatnot, making him also the stores personal 'concerns and complaints box'. Because Junes moved into such a small town, where the economy of it mainly used to rely on the family-run stores in the shopping district, Yosuke often overhears housewives venting theit frustraions due to the fact that many stores in the shopping district had been forsed to close down. Because Junes is mostly at fault for that, they often associate it with Yosuke's family. A girl named Saki Konishi began to work at Junes, and lo and behold, Yosuke developed a crush on her. Because of this crush, he was enthusastic and went easy on her, causing him to be somewhat annoying to the girl. It didn't help that Saki's parents owned a liqor store in the shopping district that Junes was running out of buisness, causing Saki's parents to talk badly about the large store and the Hanamura family constantly. Because she didn't want to be fired, Saki pretended to like Yosuke, and even went as far as reassuring him when he was down about being disliked for a reason he couldn't help.

For awhile, Yosuke lead an average life in town. His day to day ritual was the usual. You know, go to school, go to work, crash bike into surroundings while going home from work, eat dinner, watch TV, go to bed. On weekends when he doesn't work, some times he'd also take the train into the city just to get a lung full of the horrible air he misses so much.
Yeah, everything in Yosuke's life seemed to be normal, until a woman was murdered in Inaba, and a strange TV world came into his life.
He first entered the TV world with the help of the new transfer student, Souji Seta, who took him and fellow classmate Chie Satonaka into a world inside the TV, where a cartoonish bear told them that someone had been throwing people into the world, resulting in them dieing.
The woman who died's body was found by none other than Saki, hanging upside down on a TV antennae on top of someone's house. Saki was interviewed on the news a day or so later, and a few days after it was reported that Saki had also been killed, and her body was hung in a similar way. Obviously, this devistated Yosuke. He had a hunch that the TV world was connected to this, so he went back once again with Souji, telling Chie to keep watch in front of the big screen TV in Junes which served as their entrance.

Inside the TV world, they found what looked to be an exact replica of the shopping district in Inaba. When they went inside the store that Saki's family owned, they heard her inner thoughts of how she always thought that Yosuke was a pain in the ass. Yosuke pushed that away and refused to accept it, causing a shadow of him; his 'true self' to appear, and begin taunting him. When the Shadow Yosuke went on and on about how he knew he was annoying, how he hated to be alone, and how he only made small connections with people to make himself feels secure. Yosuke rejected this, telling his shadow self that he was not him. This caused the shadow to go out of control, and morph it's shape from looking exactly like Yosuke to a large monster. If it were not for Souji having a power called "Persona", which he got when the two were first encountered by shadows, Yosuke would have died. After Souji defeated the shadow, Yosuke came to a resolve in which he accepted the feelings that his True Self had told him. Because of this, Yosuke was given his own persona, named Jiraya.

After finding out about Shadow Selves, the 'investigation team' was sure that's how people were dieing without a cause autopsies could find out. It was then that the group dedicated themselves to uncovering the mystery of the case.

(Nothing noteworthy happens to Yosuke(aisde from his teacher dieing) between then and where I am taking him from; a bit after rescuing Rise. )

Personality:
With your first meeting of him, Yosuke will more than likely be cheerful and nice to you first meet him, if not somewhat of a dork as well. Before he moved to the small town of Inaba, he used to have many 'friends' in the city because of his laid back air, but he knew himself that none of them were really friends; the kind that you can depend on when you need someone to grab your hand and help you out.

Upon meeting his 'True Self' in the TV world, Yosuke finally accepted the feelings he had deep down inside, that he made so many weak links with people because he's afraid of being alone; to make him feel secure with himself. He keeps up the cheerful, 'nice guy' wall that he's made for himself as a means to escape.

Another side of Yosuke is that, at times, he can be quite the jerk. He often speaks before thinking, even though when investigating the murders that had been happening in town he puts 200% into thought, and words come out meaner than he intends them to.
The inside of the cottage was not as quaint as it was from the outside. Lauren imagined small wooden furniature all set around the house in an organized manner, with fresh cut wildflowers on the table, next to a small fireplace with a stew of some kind cooking over it.
She knew that sounded like something out of a storybook, but it was okay since the cottage itself looked like it was straight out of a fairytale, right?
When Hayato opened the wooden door that lead into his home, he may as well have dropped a mirror that reflected the princesses vision of the cottage. There was wooden furniature, yes, but most of it was broken or didn't match at all. Lauren was barely inside the door when the boy closed it behind her and gave her a serious look.
"Take off your clothes." He commanded, slightly raising his eyebrows.
The princesses breath hitched in her throat at his words, as she had heard about people like this, who kidnapped girls and forsed them into having sex, but she couldn't recall the word that the maids had used for that action.
"Wh-what...?" she managed to shakily say, stepping back a few paces before bumping into the rickety table behind her. Hayato blinked a few times before heaving yet another sigh, and burrying his face in one of his hands.
"Not like--- I didn't mean it that way!" Obviously, he had caught onto what the princess was thinking. "If you don't take off that dress, I can't clean those cuts. They'll get infected if I don't, and with the ammount that you have, you'll probably end up dieing."
She paused for a moment and thought, twisting her fingers in the scraps of her once elegant dress.
"Can I have something else to wear, then?" She asked hopefully.
Staying around a boy she only knew the name of while naked didn't really seem like the best idea, to her. The only other thing that the princess possibly knew about this boy was his age. Just judging by his appearance, Lauren pegged him to be fifteen-sixteen years old, which put him two or three years behind her, as she was nearly eighteen (or so she would be in the winter, and it was late spring now. She liked to skip a few months, if it made her older.).
Hayato glanced to the side for a moment, as if he had something to say, yet was holding it back. He took a deep breath in, and then hesitantly looked at Lauren.
"I don't really have anything you can wear, but..." a pause, when he took another breath in and let out one of his infamous sighs. "I have... spare cloth laying around that... I could probably... sew a dress out of or something.."
It was hard to understand, since the boy was mumbling, but Lauren caught what he said.
"Y-you can sew...?"
"Shut up. I live on my own, so I need to know how to do things."
This time, it was Lauren who heaved a sigh, turning around and peeling off the scraps of her dress. She left her thin, white, slip-like underdress on, as it seemed to have survived the assult from the bushes, for the most part.
As she was undressing and smoothing out her hair, Hayato opened one of his cupboards and took out a small metal box. He opened it, taking out a small bottle crafted from brown glass that Lauren knew all too well. Although she was of nobility, she lacked the grace that proved her as such. She had fallen into the rose bushes in the courtyard more than once, and knew that the liquid in the bottle 'made cuts and scrapes better', not without the price of some stinging.
She watched as he also took out a few small balls of cotton, and a rather large roll of cloth bandages. Lauren made a slight face, as she felt he was taking her scrapes a bit out of proportion. Could some cuts one got from bushes really get infected enough to kill someone? Somehow, the redhead doubted that.
Hayato took the cap off the bottle, tipping it upside down while putting the cotton to the mouth of the bottle, soaking the ball with the liquid. He set it aside, and gently took Laurens wrist into his hand before taking the cotton into the other and running it down the princesses arm.
She bit her lip, blinking back tears as her entire arm was filled with a stinging sensation. The girl pouted slightly as she watched her cut-covered arm fizz. The silver-haired boy wiped the nearly raw palm of her hand as well, and then set the (now dirty) piece of cotton aside to pick up the bandages. He completely wrapped her arm in the cloth bandages, no skin below her sholder showing. He repeted the process three more times, on her other arm and both of her legs, although her legs had been covered when she was crawling, so they had far less cuts on them than her arms.
The boy glanced away, swallowing. So badly he wanted to say 'okay, now take off that dress so I can get the rest of you.', so that he could run his hands down her small body, over her soft curves... was it really okay for him to have these thoughts about a princess? He was avoiding looking at her face, at her large emerald eyes and (he was sure) feather soft lips, so that he wouldn't have to keep himself from doing something that he was sure would get him killed by the royal court.
"...thank you." Her words thankfully broke his train of thought.
"uh. ...welcome, uh... princess..."
Pursing her lips at his obvious discomfort, Lauren thought. He was letting her call him by his first name, right? Well, why shouldn't she?
"Just call me Lauren."
"...right. Lauren, then."
And when she smiled at him (which he was sure was the cutest fucking thing in the world), he had to look away from her once again.

IC INFORMATION
NAME: Luke fon Fabre
SERIES: Tales of the Abyss
HISTORY: (I'm really sorry for the length, I couldn't find a way to chop it down.)

For as long as Luke could remember (which is only seven years), he had been held inside the manor his family owned, not being allowed to go outside the walls. He was told that when he was ten years old, he had been kidnapped by the enemy country, Malkuth, and lost his memories at that time.
Because his father was the Duke of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear, Luke was raised by his best friend and servant, Guy Cecil, and his master who he gave complete devotion, Van Grants.
During sword practice one day, a young woman barged in, aiming to kill Van. Luke got in the way, and a reaction called a 'hyperresonance' shot them half across the world, to a place called 'Tataroo Valley'.
It was there that Luke participated in his first real-life fights, against monsters instead of training dummies.
When Luke and Tear made their way out of the valley and found a coach, it was then that they learned that they were in Malkuth. The two made their way to a farming town called Engave, where the overly sheltered Luke learned that you need to pay for goods you want from a store, unlike going to the kitchen and taking food that you want. He did this at the wrong time, however, as Engave had been experiencing food loss from what they thought were food thiefs, and Luke was promptly arrested. When he was dragged to the mayors house, he tried to appeal, saying that he didn't steal their food, but the mayor was too busy talking to a visitor, Colonel Jade Curtiss. It was then that Fon Master Ion, the highest ranked member in the order of Lorelei, came to the house and presented fur of a small animal called a cheagle that he found in the food storage building, showing that the cheagles had been stealing their food.
The next day, Luke stormed off to the forest that the cheagles lived in to 'teach them a lesson', but ended up having to fight a giant monster, who had it's land burnt by a cheagle named 'Meiu', and moved into the forest instead. When things were looking bleak against it, Jade showed up once again and saved the day by killing it. The cheagles were grateful, and made Meiu Luke's servant for a year.
As they were leaving the forest, Luke and Tear were captured by a few Malkuth soldiers under Jade's command, for illegally crossing the border.

Luke and Tear were taken to a large land ship called 'The Tartarus', and was questioned by Jade and one of Ion's guardians named Anise about how they managed to travel to Tataroo Valley via Hyperresonance. Luke, having no idea, was let off easy, but by the way that he didn't know much and only had seven years worth of memory piqued Jade's curiosity. When Luke and Tear were allowed to explore the landship, it was attacked by a group of people called The six god-generals. There was a brief fight between Jade and Largo the Black Lion, but it ended with Largo getting stabbed by Jade, and Anise running off with Ion to take him to safety.
Once they got outside, Jade and Tear left Luke alone as they were going to go try to regain control of the Tartarus. Foolishly, Luke hovered over one of the soldiers Tear put to sleep using a fonic hymn, he triggered Meiu's fire-breathing power and awoke him, leaving Luke no choice but to fight alone, and kill the solider. Luke, never have killing someone before, went into a small state of shock. The noise alerted Jade and Tear, and they came back to see what had happened. It was then that the three were attacked by two more of the God Generals, Legretta the Quick and Asch the Bloody. Asch attacked them with a spell and aimed to kill them, but Legretta had them locked in a holding cell instead.
They broke out, only to encounter more troubles outside when another of the God Generals, Arietta the Wild, showed up. Just when things were looking bad, Guy showed up out of nowhere and evidentially saved the day. The Tartarus and it's crew was too damaged to move, so the team set off on foot to the Fubras river, and then the border, the Kaitzur Checkpoint; however, when they got to the Checkpoint they encountered Van, who blocked an attack from Asch as he showed up to try and end Luke's life once again.
They spoke briefly, were given passports, and headed off to the port.
When they got to the port, though, Arietta stopped them as she destroyed the boat and took the only person who could fix it hostage. She demanded that Luke and Ion both come to a place called Choral Castle. When they got there, Luke got kidnapped as well. He was taken to a strange machine, and all that he heard was that his 'synchronized fon slots' were opened, before the group came and rescued him. They briefly fought Arietta on the roof, and reunited with Van. The group took a ship to Baticul, the town Luke lived in, afterwards. While they were on the ship, Luke activated a hyperessonance on his own, but Van came and calmed him down before any major damage could happen.

When they returned to Baticul, news came from Luke's cousin-and-fiancee, Natalia, that Van had been arrested, for they thought that he was the one who caused Luke's disappearance. Luke went to the cell Van was being held in at once, and had a talk with his teacher, that when Luke was to go to the dying city of Akzeriuth as an ambassador, he would follow Van's plan and become a hero.
When the group was about to leave, they found note that the God Generals were blocking the exit to the city, and that Ion had been kidnapped. They went through the abandoned factory underneath Baticul to escape without being noticed, picking up Natalia on the way. As soon as they exited, Luke saw Asch's face for the first time, and noticed that it was exactly the same as his. Without time to spare, they followed the landship tracks to the desert, where they found Ion in the Zao ruins, being forced to open a strange door by Asch, Largo, and another God General named Synch the Tempest.

There was a breif fight, and immediately after is where I am taking Luke from in the story.

PERSONALITY: To put it as blunt as possible, in this point of his life, Luke is nothing short of an 'asshole'. Having grown up without being able to leave his home, Luke was always pampered, and got what he want when he wanted and how he wanted it. He doesn't seem to care about much other than himself, and his teacher, Van. Because he was always treated like the Prince he practically was, being in line to the thrown due to his engagement to the Princess, whenever Luke is presented with a situation that he doesn't find appealing, he rudely whines and complains, but is never given his way once his 'journey' begins. At first, he hated having to walk everywhere, getting his expensive clothes dirty and his shoes wet, but that was one of the few things he eventually learned to shut up about, unlike complaining when something didn't go his way.

Not to mention they were really fucking boring when he understood them.

By the look of it, the sleeping redhead at the back of the class thought so, too.

Well, this sucked. He groaned, but then got an idea.

He raised his hand to signal the teacher that he wanted her attention, and when she came over he began speaking in Japanese. Naturally, the teacher asked Luke to translate.

“oh uh.. he says he needs to go to the bathroom… but wants me to come with him to show him where it is.” He said groggily, getting up from his seat and heading towards the door.

Gokudera was, for once, glad that he sat at the front of the classroom so no other students would see his raging hard-on as he got up and left the room quickly.

However, the two didn’t head in the direction of the bathroom. Luke was slightly confused when Gokudera grabbed his wrist and began pulling him, and was completely lost when he opened the janitor’s closet and shoved him inside.

Although, when his leg came into contact with the rock that was Gokudera’s crotch, and the silver-haired boy sealed his lips to his neck, he clued in completely.

“H-hayato… I thought we weren’t going to—“ he began, but was cut off quickly by a kiss, which was broken a few seconds later after Gokudera began grinding his hips down into Luke’s knee and let out a soft groan, but continued on when Luke placed his hand on the back of his neck and pulled him back in, which got returned by getting a slim hand up his shirt.

As soon as Gokudera’s free hand found it’s way to the buckle on his boyfriends pants, the door to the small room opened, an old man clad in navy coveralls appearing in the doorframe.

The two boys froze, looking at the janitor in shock. However, it came as more of a shock when the old man didn’t stare down, just blinked twice, and shut the door.

So they continued.

It was almost surreal. They had just gone to the mall, to the book store to get a dictionary so they could settle some stupid little argument on weather some word they would have forgotton what it was was actually IN the dictionary or not, and of course the small, one room (it's not like they needed more) appartment they shared didn't really need one.
Hayato drove, because the minute he got his licence (what was that, three years ago?), it was almost like Luke had lost the permission completely to put his hands on a steering weel.

Now the mall they went to was needlessly big, being something like six floors, the book store being on the fifth.
They hardly even had a chance to get off of the escalator before things began to shake, and an alarm sounded.
People were panicing, pushing and shoving to get off of higher up levels, mothers screaming and grabbing their young children, trying to find the nearest exit.

Hayato reached back to grab Luke's wrist and pull him somewhere as the shaking got to the point where things shouldn't even be, but as soon as his hand made contact with the other boys skin, he felt something heavy, and things went dark.

He woke up on some kind of.. was it a mattress they pulled out from the rubble of the shopping centre? No... it must just be something the paramedics brought. Wait... Paramedics?
Instead of slowly sitting up like he should have, Hayato bolted up and looked around him, looking for any sign of red to hopefully help him find who he was looking for.
Unfortunetly, he did see plenty of red, but not in the way he was searching for it.
All around him, men and woman were treating those who had been injured in the earthquake.
No... it was more like they were treating the survivors of the earthquake. Hayato's vision was shakey as he looked at the destroyed building, and his stomach dropped as he noticed all of the blood, limbs, and things that you never wanted to see when you were only fucking eighteen.

He scrambled to his feet, and darted off to where it felt right to where the book store was-- where it used to be. He called out that name he was so accustomed to saying-- he didn't even know how many times he said it a day. People didn't count how many times they blinked, right? It was something like the same thing.
A smile of releif spread across his face as an arm caught his attention out of the corner of his eye, a bracelet that resembled a leather belt around the wrist of it. That was the bracelet he had given Luke!
Only focusing on the tiny belt, Hayato darted over to the arm, placing his hand on it and pulling, and he swore that all of the noise around him stopped when the arm moved all too easily, as it wasn't even attached to anything.
He dropped the limb and fell to his knees, putting his hand over his mouth as he tried his damned hardest not to throw up.
No, No. He still had to find Luke.
He slowly got to his feet once again, and almost blindly wandered around the area where he found the-- no no no don't think about it, don't think about it-- until his foot hit something, and he heard the slight 'plip' of stepping in liquid.

Looking down, Hayato was sure his heart stopped completely as he found what he was looking for.

Instantly, he dropped to his knees, his hands hovering awkwardly somewhere around his chest-stomach area as he didn't have the faintest idea what the fuck to even do with them right now.
Luke was a mess. An absolute fucking mess.
Of course, his left arm was gone. Hayato was expecting that, but hadn't braced himself for it. His leg was on an angle that a leg really shoudln't be at, his casual light-gray t-shirt he had just thrown on to go out seemed to be almost black in places-- Hayato knew what that was, but wasn't thinking about it-- and half of his face was covered in a fresh layer of blood, although it looked no different from his hair.

But he was fine, right? Yeah, he had to be fine. It was Luke, after all! He fell from four stories and didn't die, after all!
No, no. Luke couldn't be--- he couldn't be dead. Hayato had promised him he wouldn't let him!

"C-c'mon, Luke. Wake up." He said softly, shaking the boy's shoulder-- what was left of a shoulder, at least. "Wake up. Th-this isn't... isn't the time for you to be lazy and want to sleep... come on..."

Hayato didn't notice the tears welling in his eyes as the shaking he was doing got harder, until he pushed the body that was previously on it's side over onto it's back. His eyes didn't register the pipe that had lodged itself somewhere in between Luke's lungs and stomach, he only kept trying to wake the boy up.

Hitting him usually worked, right?
With the back of his hand, Hayato lightly tapped the side of Luke's face, choking out another "get up..!" then pursing his lips once again. He continued this until hitting him got to a strength that he 'didn't want to hurt him'.

Plan B?
The silver haired boy leaned down, and lightly swiped his tounge across Luke's neck, being taken slightly aback as Luke didn't jump alert like he usually did when this happened.

"C...come on... Luke...--" choke "--! This isn't.. stop giving me that fucking... fucking...!" sob "that silent treatment...! You were right, okay? Y-yeah! That word is in the dictionary..!" a shaky breath in, in attempt to regain composure. "So... so we have to go home now, okay? Y-you can... you can drive if you want to..! Yeah, I'll let you drive! So.. get up!"

Now, he was letting the tears fall as he was starting to not believe his lies.
"Get up, you idiot..! Get up! You're... you're not allowed to do this! You can't... you can't die! I told you..! How.. h-how many times have I f-fucking told you...! I NEED YOU! So get up, y-you bastard!"
He stopped for a moment to breath and wipe his eyes
"You aren't allowed-- how many times have I tried to leave, but I've stayed... I've stayed because you want me to! I want you to stay! You aren't.. stop it! GET UP!" his head was begining to ache, and the ache in his chest was already so powerful he couldn't feel it.
"Get up... you can't... I don't...
I don't want to be in a world... a world that you aren't in... ! So you have to get up, and you have to listen to me...!"

He stopped his babbling, and finally just burst into tears, screaming out as loud and for as long as he could, buckling down so that his stomach was against his legs.
When he was done with his outburst, he shuffled over to Luke, and placed his head on his chest.
"I'm going to... I'm going to stay here, then. I promised you that I would never leave you. I'm not going to leave you. I'm going to stay right here... right here.." He reached out and grabbed Luke's hand lightly, closing his eyes.

When he opened them, he was in a hospital.

He burst into tears again, when the bed next to him was someone he didn't know.

The second week of June, and was already hot as fuck outside. For such an apparently 'prestigious' school, why couldn't they be bothered to do something as simple as install air conditioners in the dorms?
Most of the students had already gone home(or disappeared, although no one really wanted to think about that), save for the ones who came from somewhere else in the world but Japan. They weren't being kicked out of the dorms for the summer, so why would they be bothered to leave? They made friends at the academy, and bugging their parents for the money to cover an international flight back to America or Europe or wherever-the-hell half the kids from this whack-job school came from didn't really seem like something they wanted to do.

Unfortunately, weather kids went home for the summer or not didn't help them escape from that dreaded beast called 'summer homework'. Some kids decided to get it out of the way asap so they could enjoy the two months of freedom they had, while others decided to enjoy the two months of freedom they had, then cram all of the homework into the last week of vacation.

Sprawled across a bed in the dorm room next to the one that was actually his, Luke fon Fabre was part of the faction of the second half.
The surprisingly younger boy sitting on the floor next to said bed, Gokudera Hayato, was not.

"I didn't know you wore glasses, Hayato." Luke said plainly, hanging his head upside-down from the side of the bed and reaching out and trying to touch the frames on the slim boys face, which just earned him a 'fuck off' as his hand was batted away.

The redhead rolled onto his stomach, then moved his face closer to the book in Gokudera's hand, blinking at it curiously.
"So what is it you're reading, anyways?"

"You should know, Idiot. They told us in---"

"You know I don't pay attention in class."

"...tch."

Luke let out a small laugh, knowing that he had won that portion of the argument-- but then frowned knowing that because he did, he wasn't going to get to know the title of that book.

"Your hair looks weird, when you pull it back." Luke spoke again, trying to fill the silence that had already somehow taken two minutes.

"Shut up, it's hot, and I have a lot of ha--"

"So why don't you cut it?"

An icy glare that made Luke practically wince followed that, as he was noticably pissing Gokudera off.
In a somewhat girlish fashion, Luke began kicking his legs, the tips of his toes scraping against the wall behind him, making a sound that clearly showed that Luke really needed to cut his toenails.

"augh, can't you do something else? That's really fucking annoying." Hayato hissed, looking away from the book for a minute to shoot another glare at Luke.

"I'm bored, though. It's keeping me occupied."

"well, find something else to do. I'm readi---"

"How about talk---"

"I swear, if you inturrupt me one more fucking time I'll---"

"You'll what?"

The book fell to the floor, completely losing whatever page it was on, as Gokudera grabbed Luke's chin, crushing his lips against the red-heads. This wasn't one of their regular oh-we're-guys-but-it's-okay-it's-only-experimenting-so-let's-make-out kisses, no. This really was just to occupy Luke's mouth with something other than interrupting him and gabbing away about he-didn't-even-care.

After a few seconds, Hayato broke the kiss, glanced over at his book with an angry sigh, and stood up.
"I'm going downstairs to get something to drink. I'll be right back."

"a-alright." Luke blinked, still in shock over the random kiss that didn't even go anywhere but having two mouths connected.

As Gokudera closed the door closed behind him Luke closed his eyes, a smirk spreading across his face.

Well that didn't take very long, did it?

Finally getting out of his bed, he didn’t bother to smooth out the navy bed dressings, he felt he didn’t need to. What was the point in making a bed you were just going to mess up again when you go back home and fall asleep in after a fireworks festival?
Although there was a mirror in his room, Gokudera completely neglected it, much like the brush sitting on the table underneath of it. For hair like his, crawling out of bed and running his fingers through it fit just fine.

He lifted a thin hand to one of his half-closed eyes, rubbing at it slightly to get the crusty bits out of his eyes, one of the far less glamorous things about waking up.
He found clothes that he presumed weren’t dirty, as they didn’t smell like teenage boy, and they didn’t have wrinkles or scuffs of any kind. Although it was for a festival in town, what he put on wasn't something meant to impress anyone. It was something simple and casual, something you would wear on an every day occasion. Everyone wasn't going on a mission, after all.

After putting on his usual pound of jewelry that consisted of three necklaces, five bracelets and why-would-you-even-want-to-count rings, he took the precaution of slipping dynamite under the black jacket-like shirt he had over top of a red one. Although everything seemed to be at peace, Gokudera couldn’t help but still carry around something in case that Tsuna was attacked, so that he could carry out his job as the right-hand man of the tenth boss of vongola without any hassle, even though the amount of dynamite he had been taking everywhere was far less than half of what he’d usually take.

At last, a day that had something eventful had arrived. It wasn’t that Gokudera had any objections whatsoever to doing nothing but hanging around with Tsuna all day, because that’s what ‘the Tenth’ had wanted to do.
Ever since the Millefiore had been defeated, Gokudera thought twice before always pushing things to do with the mafia on Tsuna, as things had been peaceful for the passed three years, no huge troubles such as the Varia or un-wanted time travel showing up.
Whenever he opened his mouth to speak of the mafia, he usually closed it right after, in worry that something that he predicted may happen, ruining the lifestyle that Tsuna had wanted; everyone in his “family” just respecting him as a friend instead of their boss.

As he left his room, he took a pack of cigarettes off of his desk, stuffing it into the pocket of his shirt. Being 17 and having an addiction to smoking wasn't exactly something to be proud of. He started when he was 13 to get rid of stress, because for some reason he found breathing in the smoke and toxins to be relaxing, but somewhere down the line smoking became somewhere in between an oral fixation, and an addiction. He wasn't the kind to have a nicotine fit without a smoke, though, but the result of that was most likely due to the fact that he never gave himself enough time in between smoking and not to have a fit about needing a cigarette.

He knew that if he were to go down to the grounds where the fireworks were to happen now, he'd just be bombarded by girls asking shyly if he wanted to watch them with her, and he knew that he'd either throw a rude remark at them or ignore them completely, which would make the girl more than likely say "o-oh... that's alright, then...!" in such a way that would throw off his mood for the rest of the day, or at least until he could find Tsuna and put on his happy 'I-love-the-Tenth' attitude, which would be thrown off when Yamamoto came out of nowhere with that stupid smile of his, laughing and throwing his arms over the shoulders of both Tsuna and himself.

After having the extremely healthy breakfast of a piece of toast, a glass of water and a cigarette, Gokudera stood up to leave the apartment he shared with someone he wasn't going to admit publicly, although it wouldn't come as a surprise to many.
He didn't own a watch, and he was sure that the power going off in a storm they had last week had reset the clock on the stove and no one had fixed it since, so he wasn't aware of what time it was. Because of this, he didn't know if it was a suitable time to go to Tsuna's house, or if it was something like 8:45 in the morning, when his boss would still be asleep. One couldn't really tell these things in the summer, since the sun came up at 6, and by 7:30 it was as bright outside as it would be if it was 10.

Not caring if his the other resident of the house was awake yet or not (which he doubted, since Gokudera was pretty sure that he had stayed out drinking and womanizing until 3am once again), he slammed the door behind him, beginning the walk to town, Tsuna's house, anywhere that wasn't this apartment he had no choice but to live in.
I'm defending Abyss a lot lately, and I really don't like it.
One of Kiichigo's friends who always IMs me.. I just had to do it again, pretty much.

Here's the convo.

Mithos Yggdrasil says:
Aergh. I give up. Sorry
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
Nyeah, you're not a yaoi girl, I take it?
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
misao's not either, i'm not shocked. xD
Luke says:
Nope
Luke says:
only 'yaoi' pairing I like is GuyLuke
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
i"m not really fond of that one...
Luke says:
to each their own
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
Yeah.
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
Iono. It seems to over done really.
Luke says:
not.. really. Yeah, their FRIENDSHIP is pretty focused on, because Luke is the main character and Guy is his BEST FRIEND.
Best Friend =/= Boyfriend.

No 'romantic lol' relationship is focused on THAT MUCH for them, but I still like it.
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
Like you said, to each their own.
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
I like the pairing--it's just not one of my favorites.
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
I'm partial toe Jade x Luke or Jade x Dist when it comes to TotA
Luke says:
I don't really have a jade pairing I like
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
Eh. I'm not fond of TotA in general, ut I guess Jade is my favorite character.
Luke says:
It's my favorite of the four tales games I've played.
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
I'veo nly p,ayed part of it and Symphonia--I prefered Symphonia. Just personal reference, really.
Luke says:
Yeah, most people who don't play that much of it don't really like it
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
It jusxt didn't catch my interst, I guess.
Luke says:
How much did you play?
Mithos Yggdrasil says:
I'n not quite sure...
